Baltimore. Easy to get to. Easy to get around. Situated in the heart of the Eastern Seaboard, Baltimore is easily accessible by plane, train and highway. Its close proximity to New York, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia make it a prime meeting destination.
By Air
Baltimore is served by three major airports: Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI; 1-800-435-9294 or 410-859-7111) in Maryland, and Washington Dulles International Airport (703-572-2700) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (703-417-8000) in Northern Virginia.
Just 15 minutes from downtown, BWI served 20.7 million passengers in 2006, and expects to grow to 30 million by 2010. Recently completed expansions and improvements resulted in 12,000 new parking spaces; new concourses and pedestrian bridges; moving sidewalks; a wider road in front of the terminal; and a monorail-style system connecting the airport, parking garages and the Amtrak/MARC Station.

CHARM CITY CIRCULATOR
The backbone of any great city is transportation. That's why we're introducing the Charm City Circulator (CCC), a fleet of 21 free shuttles that travel three routes in Baltimore City.
We service residents, downtown employees, students and tourists and anyone else who wishes to ride. The shuttle is intended to reduce congestion and greenhouse gas pollution by offering a convenient, reliable and eco-friendly form of public transportation.
The CCC consists of three separate routes—the Green Route which runs from City Hall to Fells Point to Johns Hopkins, the Purple Route which runs from Penn Station to Federal Hill, and the Orange Route which runs from Hollins Market to Harbor East.
We're not only dedicated to offering a stellar form of public transportation that links critical parts of the city—we are interested in doing it in the cleanest way possible. That's why we've chosen 21 DesignLine 2009 EcoSaver IV LF Hybrid Electric vehicles—the first fleet of this type in a major metropolitan area. The Charm City Circulator was a part of former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon's vision of a "cleaner, greener Baltimore."
We encourage all of our residents and visitors to use this service—not only is it free, it's efficient. A shuttle arrives every 15 minutes at the designated stops on each route.
Use it as your connector to your regular train, bus or commuter lot—or just to get a taste of all Baltimore City has to offer.
